Rescue’s Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS) provides short-term, flexible service coordination to assist in stabilizing young people in crisis—at home, at school, or in the community.

When a child or adolescent experiences a mental health crisis, family members, school officials, or law enforcement officers can contact Rescue at 419-255-3125. Rescue will dispatch its MRSS team to provide stabilization services wherever the crisis is occurring.

By de-escalating emotional or behavioral issues, the program helps reduce emergency room utilization, school expulsions, and incarcerations.

MRSS can assist with:

  • Escalating emotional or behavioral issues
  • Mental health issues
  • Addiction and substance use
  • Physical and emotional trauma
  • School truancy
  • Running away from home
  • Parent or caregiver/child conflicts
  • Follow-up care

Serving individuals 21 and under.

The Mobile Response & Stabilization Services team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
