DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

FULL-TIME COUNSELORS AND SOCIAL WORKERS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Triage and intake interviews with clients and community-based referral sources.
  • Administering diagnostic assessments and emergency-based treatment planning.
  • Case management and resource linkage.
  • Group and Family meeting facilitation.
  • Utilization of supportive crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation techniques.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current licensure in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Counselor (LPCC/LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LISW/LSW).
  • Ability to demonstrate the fundamental knowledge/practice as it applies to the delivery of emergency mental health services.
  • Possesses a sound understanding of interviewing, diagnostic assessment and case management skills.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and a drug/nicotine test.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in support of State Licensure required, Master’s degree preferred.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS

for our new Behavioral Health Urgent Care program, a unique program intended to reduce hospitalizations by providing services that address client’s urgent needs in the community. This position is responsible for providing onsite assessment and initial and ongoing pharmacological management for a range of clients with mental health and dual-diagnosis disorders with a collaborating psychiatrist. This position also provides coordination and referral for ongoing services with an area provider.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Conducts medication assessments to new and existing clients. Provides therapeutic interventions as necessary including the provision of short-term medication management services.
  • Provides consultation and health education to agency staff, caregivers and clients as it is relative to the treatment and medication needs of agency consumers.
  • Maintains documentation of services, including medication management, progress notes, medication informed consent and other required information in compliance with agency and third party compliance standards.
  • Receives supervision by collaborating psychiatrist when applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing Science
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Must have extensive knowledge of: the etiology of serious mental illness and treatment by a variety of appropriate therapeutic interventions, including psychopharmacology; nursing practice and medical evaluation, physical diseases and their treatment; community resources and networking techniques; and psychiatric and medical emergency stabilization.
  • Prescriptive authority or in an externship for prescriptive authority.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSES

Full-Time, Part-Time and Contingent for our Adult Community Stabilization and Child/Adolescent units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinates care to residents utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
  • Administers medication.
  • Adheres to Ohio State Board of Nursing Standards and Scope of Practice as an RN or LPN.
  • Develops and maintains therapeutic client relationships with close adherence to client-directed services.
  • Participates in the development and update of individual treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team and clients.
  • Provides therapeutic interventions with residents in accordance with the treatment plan. Monitors safety and security of the treatment environment.
  • Assesses symptoms and manages immediate crisis including danger to self or others, and implements crisis intervention plan if necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ADN, BSN preferred
  • Possess current Ohio Licensure as LPN or RN
  • LPNs must have at least 2 years experience

FULL-TIME CLINICAL SUPERVISORS

for our mental health programming line. This position is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the clinical practice of all assigned staff and for the direct provision of services to clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provides direct supervision of the professional practice of those employees assigned to his/her program or shift.
  • Assumes administrative responsibility for assigned employees, including regular employee evaluations, hours of work and implementing corrective action.
  • Provides direct client services in accordance with his/her clinical discipline and training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work and/or Counseling and/or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Licensed in Ohio as an Independent Social Worker, Counselor (LISW or LPCC) or Registered Nurse
  • Past experience providing direct supervision in a community mental health center preferred
